Many have heard about the country of Bulgaria, but they really don’t know much about it. Normally, when you ask a person about the country Bulgaria you and others can’t even let you know where it’s located nor what surrounds it. We decided, it’s time to change that.
For starters, when you ask people, they normally know that Bulgaria is somewhere in Europe. The countries that border Bulgaria are: Romania which you fine is to the north, Serbia which you will find to the west, then, there is the Republic of Macedonia which his also to the west. There is also Greece to the south and Turkey which is also found to the south.
The capitol of this country is Sofia which just also happens to be the largest city there. OF course, the language that is spoken is Bulgarian. You will find that the people there are of course the Bulgarians. There are some Romanians, some Turks, and a few others as well.
There are many who like to travel here as well. The reasons for this are partly because that you have all sorts of landscaping. You have the mountains here. You have the snow covered peaks as well. There are many things that you can find here in the terms of scenery. The temperature you will find is cold in the winter and hot in the summer as with most areas.
When you look at the economy of Bulgaria you will find that they are the manufacturers of quite a few products. Just a few of those products to name are: coal, electronics, construction materials, and more just to name. They have done more of these sorts of things because as of 1989, you find that they have reduced the amount of agriculture that they do. However, tourism has been booming for quite a while as well.
You will find that when you look at some of the things that are a part of their culture, there are many who find that music has a long standing history in Bulgaria. There are some very well known composers who have made history there. The music is so wide ranged as well which is why many like the music here. Bagpipes are even something that you might hear with Bulgarian music.
When you look at the food that is quite common to Bulgaria, you can find that yogurt is one of the things that are quite common to this area. Then, there are other foods as well. Some of the foods that are quite common, you might not have heard of like shopksa salad for instance. When you look at sports that are popular since we are looking at the culture there is football, weight lifting, chess, gymnastics and many other sports which are quite popular as well however, there are still other sports which many love to watch and participate in.
Now, you have a better understanding about Bulgaria. Now, when you think of this country, you will know a few facts about it. This is always nice to know as sometimes, it’s great to expand your knowledge of areas that you aren’t familiar with.
